Saira’s formal training began at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, where she was awarded a Masters in Opera with High Distinction and received various scholarships including the Henderson, Helpmann and Conservatorium Association Scholarships. She was also awarded the audience favourite award for the International Meistersinger Competition in Graz, Austria and continues her training with the world class opera singer, Yvonne Kenny here in London.


Saira has performed with Opera Australia, Pacific Opera, Victorian Opera and Sydney Symphony Orchestra in Australia. In London she has worked with the award winning company OperaUpClose, Opera Interludes, London Festival Opera, toured with the Magical Mozart Concert Series and belongs to the renowned group ‘The Recitalists‘ managed by Sternberg Clarke.
